Masked Discriminatory Prejudices In Rugby League

My Rugby rant for today!

I am not surprised at the results of the Fiji PNG rugby match. During my brief term as a Chairman for PNGRFL I witnessed first hand such manipulation by faceless men who for some reason do not want PNG to be a part of the game at the highest level.

Diplomacy using sports is a very clever method of political influence. It’s very much at play here in PNG. Even our favourite sport is manipulated by foreign interests and we don’t even see it.

It is subtle but very much there. PNG will be suppressed in anyway shape or form. It has to remain dependent on guess who. Call it a conspiracy theory but the facts are there if you care to look. Review all the events and you will see that there is a clever and sinister method behind the effort to prevent PNG from ever becoming a force of any sort..even in sports especially in rugby league.

So how do we counter this?

Firstly realise that you are not just playing a sports team..you are playing an entire mindset that is very much steeped in discrimination and hellbent on ensuring you stay in your place. They will be giving their usual 100%..you will need to give your 1000%. That's right. You cannot just match them, you must beat them, resoundingly!

So how do we do this?

Well we need to think of every such effort as a war. A war we MUST win. Be disciplined to extremes, be alert and drilled in all you need to be. There is no time to be sorry for oneself, there is not room for self admiration and starstruck fan accommodations, be warriors who espouse our tribal elements of success..respect discipline and honour..they won’t give it to you..so you must take it by force!

You must be resilient and think on your feet and be proactive in every effort you undertake. Our enemies are not just the sports team we will face but the corrupt officials and the biased media and the clever operation of perception that’s constantly at play behind the scenes. Treat the field of contention as a battle field..not just a sports field..treat the event as a battle not just a sports event..you are playing against their officials their media, their masked discriminatory prejudices..be the underdog and be brutal, fast and have no expectations of fairness..harness the mindset and focus on the task ahead..be the warrior and win.

Meanwhile we should simply boot out the spooks within our midst who seem to be at every event and selection, influencing every decision for whatever outcome they desire for their masters.

I await the rhetoric to flow from the neo-colonialists and their colonised mindset possessed zombie minion coconuts..
