Although I have already said my Congratulations to Rose Kelly Kunjip I felt compelled to tell parts of the story of this remarkable and inspirational woman.
I first met Rose as a very young lawyer in my first place of employment
Kunai Lawyers. She was a legal secretary. Her skills as a legal
secretary were spectacular and nothing short of outstanding. When I
moved to Tiffany Nonggor Lawyers later Nongorr William and currently
Twivey Lawyers we went together. She upgraded her marks at the
University Centre. It was quite remarkle being the single mum of a
young son and holding a full time job but her marks were spectacular.
She skipped lunch to take class and made big sacrifices to meet the
tution. Eventually she completed Matriculation and was selected to study
law at UPNG.
Although I was the lawyer and she was the
secretary I learnt much from her not just about work but about life and
God too. A lot of credit is due to her lovely mother and her awsome
family, the Kunjips of Timur, Mt. Hagen and to her lovely son Mc
Kenzie Pomat and of course our very own amp Kund, Tiffany Twivey.
Jiks mate the journey was hard and filled with diversion but you have
persevered. Your story is remarkable. I am blessed to be part of this
story. The world is yours Counsel.
